Scotland may be a gloomy wet place, but it does have some great views, historic castles and some of the best seafood in the world. Edinburgh castle sits atop of Edinburgh giving some fantastic views of the surrounding city, people say to avoid Scotland in the winter i say go. Pick a day where you know for certain that a storm is going to hit Edinburgh and go check out the castle, sit on the stone and wait for the magnificent view of a storm swallowing a city whole in the matter of a few minutes. Luckily enough i was able to see this in the winter which made my trip check out the pictures below to see the scenery. Also check out the next posts to come on Scottish seafood.
